Plans Announced for Irish Student Accommodation Expansion

Irish-based company Atelier Property have been appointed as development manager and operating partner to UK-based Ziggurat fund. Atelier Property are an independent property developer and operator. The Atelier Property Group currently manage and operate buildings in Ireland (Dublin and Cork) and in the UK (Edinburgh and Reading).

Over the next 4 years, the Ziggurat/Atelier partnership will launch 4,000 student beds across Ireland. Immediate plans include an additional Cork building located at Western Road for 190 beds to open to it's first residents in September 2018, 3 further sites in Dublin; a site at North Circular Road for 420 beds and 2 sites on Dominick Street Upper, totalling 324, to launch in June 2018. An additional site in Galway, close to NUI Galway campus, will begin construction in January 2018 and add an additional 400 student beds to the market.
